Here I have added text into the clip which over time will start to fill up with more and more text in the shot. I have also added a black and white filter over the video.
What techniques are you using to make your video?
Techniques I am using are planning, editing and research.
Have you used online tutorials to help you learn new processes?
I have used online tutorials on YouTube to figure out how to add and use effects.
Explain how you can tweak the settings for these processes.

How do you know when you have used techniques successfully? Ie strong contrast, naturalistic colour, atmospheric lighting, looks convincing and realistic.
When I used a black and white filter over the video which made it more sad.
Ask a peer for feedback: what can be improved?
That I need to add more sketches and drawings to my work.
Compare different techniques fro making similar effects; which one has worked best? Why?
I tried different effects for transitioning into each of the clips although so far I haven’t found one that I like.

Freezing a frame
I looked up on you tube on a tutorial on how to freeze a frame a video on premiere pro. you move to where you want to have the freeze frame right clip on the video and click on add frame hold.

Why were you aiming to use this technique?
I was aiming to add sketches to my stone pillow video to make it look more creative and interesting this was influenced by Cole Benetts music videos that he makes.
Which tutorials did you use to learn this process? Add links, and explain how useful each tutorial was.
I didn’t really learn this technique from a tutorial although I did learn how to add a black and white filter to the video and I learnt from someone else how to add animation to the font.
How did you test out the effect? Use images and screen recordings to show the testing/exploration: do NOT just use writing, and DO show mistakes/tests that went wrong.
When I wanted to make a freeze in a frame I watched a tutorial on YouTube. Although when I did it, it would only freeze a certain amount of time of the shot and it wouldn’t let me change it to a long or shorter amount of time that the frame freezes for. After I watched the video again and did it on another clip it seemed to work and I was able to change the clip and redo it to make it able to go longer or shorter. I also had a problem with the transitions of the text fixing this I right clicked on the clip and added the transition that way instead of putting it on an adjustment layer.
