Analysing his work
His style of work is very different compared to other comedies. He makes things more comedic by how characters enter and exit a scene, framing, camera movement, perfect sound and timing, use of light, jump cuts and montages. He also uses many dramatic noises. He also connect scenes e.g. someone falls over and it jumps to another scene where someone falls into a seat he also connects it where someone says something that won't happen in one scene happens in another. He uses a lot of jump cut to make it more comedic and fast pasted. This can influence me by showing how much montages and jump cuts can make a difference to the film.
Hot Fuzz
Hot Fuzz in a film about a police officer Nicholas Angel who gets transferred to a small village in the countryside. This is because his seniors are jealous that he is showing them all up because he exceeds at everything in the police force. Finding it bad at first he soon finds out a massive secret about the whole village which would change everything about their perfect image.
