Brooklyn 99(comedy)

Brooklyn 99 is a American comedy tv series. Its set in a Police precinct in New York Brooklyn. It follows Captain Ray Hold an eccentric commanding officer, and his diverse and quirky team of odd detectives solve crimes

I have chosen this product because its a tv series that I have watch and that has a target audience of 16 year olds+.

What makes it fun and engaging is how it makes fun of the stereotypical US police crime tv. The main character Jake also references a lot of film in the crime/action genre. He relates a lot of his experiences to Die Hard.

Who is it aimed at? When and how is it broadcast? Does it have age-restrictions?

I think that its aimed at older teens and young adults. It broadcast originally on American cable tv and then transferred over to Netflix. It does have age restriction of 12+.

It's been very successful because there's not a tv program that I've seen.

It is set in a police precinct in New York. It follows their days with the main character being focused on Jake who's character is kind of childish. For the uses and gratification I would say its for entertainment. Its defiantly not for education as its makes fun of it and its very realistic in it being professional.
