How did you make different sounds?

I used many different object to create different sounds. For example

 

Explain how you used the recording equipment, and how you explored different materials and locations for making these sound recordings.

I used the recording equipment to record audio which I have planned to do for my chosen animation.  I have used different locations like inside and outside the collage to create different sounds. For example the sound of softer footsteps was filmed inside and much louder footsteps were filmed outside.

 

What went well?

I recorded some good sounds that work alright with the video.

 

What could be improved?

I probably need to record some more sounds as some of the sounds don’t work.

 

Explain how you have used audition to cut up your sounds, and to make a multi-layered set of sound effects.

I have used audition to help cut sounds as some audio clips are too long and only include a short amount of sound I want. I also made some of the audio louder as it wasn’t very clear to hear.

 

What went well?

I have learnt how to insert audio onto the audition and how to crop the audio.

 

What could be improved?

I could improve by adding sound effects and add more layers to the soundtrack.

I have looked up tutorials on how to crop the videos and I am going to watch more tutorials on how to add effects.
