Director- leads and supervises the film or tv program

 

Producer- overseas film production 

 

Production designer- responsible for the overall visual look of the production 

 

Art department- creates the overall look of the film or tv program 

 

DOP director of art- supervises the camera and light crew on films and tv

 

VFX producer- manages the visual effects

 

Concept artist- designer who visualises and creates art for the tv and film

 

Story board artist- creates the story board for the film or tv

 

VFX editor- overseeing visual effects in production

 

CG supervisor- computer graphics supervisor is involved in the production in computer generated imagery  

 

Foley artist- makes sound in post production in film and tv 

 

Grip- to build and maintain equipment that supports the cameras.

 

Digital imaging-  looks t the imagery of the film and tv

 

Technician- looks after the technical equipment  

 

Gaffer- head of electrician

Production runner

 

There are good at being independent 

You need a good fast laptop and preferably be able to drive 

To get into this type of job you need to go and research and ask to become one

Not really any courses needed

You don’t really need portfolio

To be able to drive is very useful 

 

Product designer 

 

You look at the visual scenery 

You’re planning the look of the film 

To get this job you have to have a qualification and having a portfolio

 

Camera trainee 

 

The job involves helps assisting the camera crew for example cleaning lenses

you might need a qualification

there good at camera work and been independent 

 

Director of photography 

 

Responsible for photographic part of the production

Reads the screen play

Helps set the mood 

They work with the camera operator, script, supervisor
