EVALUATION
Overall from this unit I have found out some different types of jobs that are available in the media industry by researching websites which give information on different jobs and what qualifications you need. I have also researched different websites for applying for jobs advertise the jobs avalible. I have also found out different universes that are available to study and what they include in the course and how it can help you in the future. I have also looked at apprenticeships in media looking at examples of people working in apprenticeships at the BBC, itv and sky and what they do. Also in how to approach apprenticeships, what skills you need and what you learn and how to get into an apprenticeship.
Although, the jobs/course that we have looked at so far are not really in my interest in what I want to do in the future as at this stage I am more interested in print media/advertisement. I have also found that from researching a lot of universities that I am not sure it is the route I want to take as it is quite academic and not exactly in the specific field I am interested in. I have found that I would prefer a course like a HND which is more practical based and less academic or a apprenticeship which gives you a practical learning experience.
