Learning the use of a camera and in design

Focus- to make the image clear and crisp

Depth of field- distance between the nearest and furthest object that are in acceptably sharp focus in on an image

Exposure- the amount of light per unit

IOS- a camera setting that will brighten or darken an image

Shutter speed- exposure of time length of time for light to go in

Aperture- a hole or opening which light travels through

Manual setting- manually changes the setting

Auto setting- automatically changes the settings

Tripod- where a camera can stand on
The tools that we have been show is how to change the size of the size of the document how to make a double page spread and how to add images and text to the document.
You can use each tool to click on the box with an x then you paste it onto the page at your desired size. Then you click the paste button to butt an image on the document.
Baseline-
Grids- helps you place images and writing equally on the page.
Placing a picture- putting the photo into the box
Master page- the page which controls all pages once somethings been placed on the master page it cannot be changed on a normal page.

What I am learning on In Design
Wed- I wanted to find out how to pate an image so I looked up a tutorial which showed me you had to go onto file then place. I also looked up how to make text more translucent, so I looked it up online and found out it’s a square with a grid in it.
Fri- I wanted to find out how to make the font thicken I figured out that you go onto stroke and weight and adjust the arrows with the number going up meaning it thickens.
Mon- I struggled with finding the bold for the font as I wanted to use it for my double page spread so I looked at a tutorial on YouTube and found out it was control shift b.
Here are some images that I have taken for my magazine. They are the original images without being edited on Photoshop. Most of the images were taken on a Canon 40D SLR with a Canon 85mm f/1.8 lense.
